NEW YORK, Oct 18, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Minerals Technologies Inc. (NYSE: MTX) today declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.025 (two and one-half cents) a share on the company's common stock.

The dividend is payable on December 18, 2001 to stockholders of record on November 5, 2001.
